Abstract

The article is devoted to the formulation of methods for investigating collaboration activities. It is analyzed that the forensic methodology reflects a set of methods, tools, techniques and recommendations of a standardized nature, set out in descriptive or formalized form for the rational organization of the collection, evaluation and use of evidence in accordance with the specifics of committing and investigating various criminal acts and criminal proceedings.

It is concluded that the structure of the methodology for investigating collaboration activities should include: forensic characteristics; circumstances to be proved; versions of the investigation; separate investigative (search) actions and operative-search measures.

In addition, the author noted that during the investigation of collaboration activities, it is necessary to establish: the time, manner and circumstances of the commission of a criminal offense; the form of guilt of the accused; circumstances that affect the severity of the criminal offense; other circumstances relevant to the criminal proceedings.

It is noted that the versions that may arise during the investigation of collaboration activities may relate to the circumstances of the event (actions of the accused include signs of collaboration activities or other criminal offense, etc.), subject (criminal offense committed by one person or group of persons, etc.) and places of commission of a criminal offense (collaboration activities were carried out in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine or through the Internet or the media, etc.). Investigative actions during the investigation of collaboration activities should include: interrogation, investigative examination, presentation of the suspect for identification, search, inspection and seizure of correspondence, removal of information from electronic communications networks and information systems, monitoring of bank accounts, etc.
