Abstract

Historical and legal characteristics of the activities of the justice bodies of the Ukrainian SSRUSSR in the 1920s and 1930s in Donetsk and Luhansk regionsThe article analyzes the historiographical and normative base of the early twentieth century on the legitimate introduction of tools to eradicate the national spirit of Ukrainians in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk. The historical period chosen for the study from 1920 to 1930 showed that it was at this time that systematic measures were taken to destroy the Ukrainian national idea and suppress the liberation movement towards state independence and sovereignty. On the basis of the analyzed historical and legal sources and scientific achievements of historians and lawyers of different time periods, first of all the Soviet era, a number of author's conclusions on the real content of the concepts "socialist law", "proletarian law", "socialist legality" etc. were made. Based on the studied historical and legal sources, the author expresses his attitude to the processes of formation of the power vertical in the new socialist state, the development of new, now socialist methods and tools to influence society. In the context of the above, the author's analysis of the results of the application of punitive and repressive measures by the bodies of justice and law enforcement in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the first years of the attitude of the Soviet state is presented. Attention is focused on the essential content of both official documents, which substantiated the legality and legitimacy of the use of punitive and repressive instruments by the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, and the scientific achievements of Soviet scientists, taking into account totalitarian censorship and enhanced political and legal control. socialist law and order. It is proved that the essence of the state and legal policy of the period 19201930 was the eradication from the consciousness of Ukrainian immigrants from different regions, primarily from Western Ukraine, national spirit, ethnic identity and assimilation into an artificially created category the Soviet people.
