Abstract

The article discusses the increase in crime rate in conditions of military aggression. Crime is a complex and multifaceted problem that requires a comprehensive approach and cooperation of various structures and organizations, including law enforcement agencies, military forces, civil society organizations, and international bodies. The main conditions and reasons for the increase in the crime rate in the country in conditions of military aggression are identified. The current legislation of Ukraine is analyzed in the context of preventing crime during the war.

Crime in conditions of war is a serious violation of international humanitarian law, which aims to protect the civilian population and other individuals in the context of armed conflict. International humanitarian law establishes obligations to protect the civilian population and other individuals who do not take direct part in hostilities and limits the use of weapons and violence against them.

Preventing crime in the country in conditions of war is a complex task that requires a comprehensive approach and joint action by the state, military and civilian personnel, international and humanitarian organizations. This leads to the need for a thorough study of legislation and analysis of problem issues that arise in connection with this topic, as it remains relevant.

Military aggression creates difficult conditions for the functioning of law enforcement agencies and contributes to an increase in the crime rate. The importance of measures to prevent an increase in the crime rate and ensure the safety of the population is emphasized.

Possible strategies for preventing an increase in the crime rate in conditions of military aggression include ensuring effective work of law enforcement agencies and increasing their number, raising the level of professional training of law enforcement personnel, promoting the development of civil security and involving civil society organizations in ensuring the safety of the population, ensuring social stability and information security, as well as developing local communities and implementing social programs.
